Rune is a Rank 7 Free Company on the Gilgamesh Server.

Rune was created on the fact we couldn't find a Free Company that gave us the MMO experience most people want. Rune is an adult run Free Company that focuses on experiencing as much content as possible (dungeon runs, crafting, end game) without dealing with drama. There is a high demand for end game content and we are making a team at the moment for Coil, Crystal Towers and beyond. We will have a Free Company House. We want to enjoy every aspect of the game and have fun doing it.

Some of us have been raiding and playing games together since Everquest and WoW. We've made friends in other games along the way. We like playing and exploring games together and think that Final Fantasy XIV will be that game for many years to come.

Our rules are pretty simple:

• No drama, seriously.
• Don't constantly troll. We all joke so don't think we are all prudes.
• Don't beg for carries or gil.

We have a Team Speak 3 server for voice communication (that's mainly where we hang out). While it isn't a requirement to join, for end game runs, you will need to at least need to connect and listen for instructions during raiding or heroic/extreme runs.

When raiding comes up, we will have a set schedule however it won't feel like a second job. Our hopes are to get anyone interested in running to get geared (we will have gear runs) and then determine best fits at that point. As long as you're willing to play your class correctly and don't get butt hurt, raiding will be an option. Clearing content will be the main focus while not making this feel like a job.
